“I’ve left some clues for you.
If you want them, turn the page.
If you don’t, put the book back on the shelf, please.”

So begins the latest whirlwind romance from the New York Times bestselling authors of Nick & Norah’s Infinite Playlist. Lily has left a red notebook full of challenges on a favorite bookstore shelf, waiting for just the right guy to come along and accept its dares. But is Dash that right guy? Or are Dash and Lily only destined to trade dares, dreams, and desires in the notebook they pass back and forth at locations across New York? Could their in-person selves possibly connect as well as their notebook versions? Or will they be a comic mismatch of disastrous proportions?
Giving you a Christmas and romantic feel, Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares will appeal readers with it’s lively setting, hilarious characters, and a one-of-a-kind premise.

The backdrop was the part I treasured the most. As I flipped through the pages of this novel, I always had that Christmas spirit inside of me. It was set in Manhattan, and mostly the strand bookstore. Oh, how I wish I was them! There was that spark that had just kept me going because of the setting.

Both Dash and Lily’s pages were both very fun and quirky. Cohn and Levithan is a perfect pair for writing a young adult romantic comedy. They wrote this novel with, ‘I’m done with my task, your turn.’ They wrote this on the spotlight and they didn’t plan before hand. Their writing was basically a mirror to Dash and Lilly’s fun adventures. It gave me that intimate feel and I felt as if I was their best friend.

There were a lot of differences between Dash and Lily. Hating Christmas and not liking to celebrate it would be Dash, and the opposite, which was loving Christmas and getting presents, would be Lily. Though, they had a lot of similarities too. They both had their own family situations and their own quirks, flaws, and doubts. Dash is your bright and quiet book lover, while Lily sometimes could be your loud and crazy book lover.

Romance was a definite whirlwind in this story! A couple of twists happened which engaged me even more. The dares really helped both Dash and Lily get to know each other more. If there was one word to describe the romance it would be extremely cute.

Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares is a romantic twister that will bring seep you in the fun and entertaining adventures of Dash & Lily. What a spirited read!
