What? I can't say everything?! hahaha Actually, I got into blogging after leaving public school as a curriculum director. I also use to teach reading and writing to upper elementary and middle school students. I missed the book talks, the recommendations, the look in someone's eyes when you turned them onto a good read. I still work in education, but not the daily face to face interaction, so blogging was a God send to still talk books and get recommendations out there. I love it when someone asks me out of nowhere what I would recommend if they want this or that, or get excited about a book from one of my reviews. Plus,with blogging, I get to know the authors and do interviews as well. My realm of reading has broadened with the blog, and all the great bloggers and writers I've gotten to know and just gush over books with has been amazing. Blogging has given me an online book family, so I would say that's what I like most about blogging.

Definitely meeting other bloggers out there who share the same passion for books as I do. It's a great community to be a part of! I've made some amazing friends because of blogging and am so grateful for that. Plus, bloggers and book lovers have the BEST book recommendations! :D

Ivy Reads (iReads) was opened on November 8, 2010 to review books, mainly YA and some "Chick-Lit." I was inspired by Tawni and Mary. Allison from Allure of Books

My name is Allison, I'm 24 and live in Oklahoma and am slowly but surely working toward being a librarian. I started The Allure of Books a little over six months ago. I've been active on Goodreads for a long time, and ended up becoming friends with several bloggers. It didn't take long for me to want to start a blog of my own so that I could share my reviews and become even more involved in the online YA reading community! I love being able to interact on a daily basis with people that love reading just as much as I do. I read everything - romance, suspense, historical fiction and all types of young adult, and I try to make sure my blog reflects that. My goal for 2011 (besides catching up with the 30+ books I've read and need to review - sigh) is to sign up for more challenges so that I have goals to work for - we'll see how it goes!

Michelle from Clover Hill Book Reviews

Clover Hill Book Reviews started in October this year. I've always been a bookworm, and decided it was time to review and share online the books I read, as well as keeping a record for my own use. I read an eclectic mix of genres - from YA, mysteries, crime, paranormal and thrillers. My children, Shaun and Harry, are also Young Reviewers on my blog, and review the books they've read also. Shaun recently took part in interviewing Alison Hart, author of over 50 books, following a joint review of Anna's Blizzard. I love taking part online, there's a really great community of book bloggers who share their love for reading. Book blogging has also meant a positive change for me, aside from sharing my love of books, I'm also now an Editor of them - my dream job and one which I take pride in and love doing :)

We blog about books (stating the obvious fact) but in a teenager's perspective. We blog about books written by adults but we give clean (ahem) and honest reviews. Our blog is fun and quirky as we are and we are sold on giving true and honest reviews. A blog where books are in the spotlight. Humor and others come naturally! =))

Hi! I'm BrandiHeather and I'm the creator of A Writer's Review. I'm just a twenty-something girl with champagne dreams on a beer budget. I started my blog about a year ago, and I was just updating it for myself. I didn't know about this whole wide world of book bloggers. I literally was just writing little summaries for myself so I could keep track of the books I read throughout the year. Alethea over at Read Now Sleep Later

I'm Alethea, aka frootjoos; I've been blogging since 1999. Read Now Sleep Later came about because, between work and school, the only time I have to read for fun was deep in the middle of the night. The best books keep me up until dawn! I once stayed awake for nearly three days when I discovered Maria V. Snyder's Poison Study series. My ratings usually reflect whether I fell asleep (not a great book) or whether I made it to morning without putting the book down. I love books with adventure, romance, and food--if it's something I happen to have in the kitchen, I'll get up around 2:30 am for a snack. Then it's back to the book!

I think the YA genre is my favorite right now because even though I'm not a Young Adult anymore, I still relate to that time in my life and I wish the awesome books that are available now had come out when I was a teen. My favorites tend to be series, especially long ones like Bloody Jack by L.A. Meyer, or really gripping ones like The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I also read some adult literary fiction, sci-fi/fantasy, and--don't laugh (OK, you can laugh)--math and science books. I love audiobooks, especially Bill Bryson's The Short History of Nearly Everything. I can listen to it again and again!

'Blogger Blooms' is a highlight of some young adult book blogs that I've recently just discovered. These blogs don't exactly have to be new, they could be old as well. Three to four blogs will be featured for every post and I give a brief description on their blog. :)

Gaby over at Oh My Books! is a blog that I check quite often ever since I discovered it a week ago. She's a very active blogger and has various features on her blog. Her contents on her blog are reviews, author interview, contests, book news, guest posts, and a couple of memes. And also, she's an international blogger, which is very cool!

Emma over at What's Cracking Coops? is a blog that I just discovered yesterday! Emma is an australian blogger who loves reading, writing, and photography! She has review, cover craves, and participates in some memes. I look forward to checking out more of Emma's blog!

Bailey over at IB Book Blogging is a 16 year old IB student, who obviously, loves reading. She likes paranormal and fantasy, just like me! She participates in various memes and has reviews on her blog. Bailey is another active book blogger, she has posts almost daily. Her blog is great!

'Blogger Blooms' is a highlight of some young adult book blogs that I've recently just discovered. These blogs don't exactly have to be new, they could be old as well. Three to four blogs will be featured for every post and I give a brief description on their blog. :)

Melina of Reading Vacation is a blog that I discovered a few days ago. She's only 11 years old and yet, already blogs! How cool is that! She reviews middle grade/tween and young adult books on her blog. Her most recent review is Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr and gave it five stars. She also has a twitter!

Harmony of Harmony's Radiant Reads is also one of my recent blog discoveries. She started her blog this April and so far, is doing an awesome job at running it! She's a big fan of purple and black covers (The Dark Divine, as an example). Her most recent review was Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey and rated it 'awesomesauce', meaning (according to Harmony's rating) the book was dripping with awesomeness.

Emily of Emily's Reading Room is one that I discovered a couple of weeks back. She started book blogging June 2009, as a way for her to give book recommendations to the people who asked her for them. Her most recent review is This Gorgeous Game by Donna Freitas rated it 5 stars. She found the emotions packed in this novel breathtaking. She has a twitter, Facebook, and a Goodreads!
